The picturesque Kailua Beach Park is located on Oahu's eastern (windward) shoreline. It also features the ideal fusion of tall ironwood trees, turquoise lakes, and powder-soft sand. The beach is situated between two additional beaches, Lanikai Beach to the north and Kalama Beach Park to the south.

Kayaking and windsurfing are two water sports that may be enjoyed at Kailua Beach Park. Near the middle and northern end of the Kailua coast is where those interested in water sports typically join the water.

How to get to Kailua Beach Park 

Kailua is fantastic for its breathtaking coastline, lovely surroundings, and cultural activities. However, as commercial drop-offs are not permitted at the beach park, you may only access this beach by car. So, think about getting a rental car. Only 12 miles and around 30 minutes on the Pali Highway separate Kailua from Waikiki.

There are several of activities available at Kailua Beach Park for you and your family to enjoy, including kayaking, stand-up paddling, and kitesurfing. Your kids will also appreciate the fine, white sand and the clear, azure water. Small children should join the ocean close to the boat ramp and around where the stream enters the sea (on the southern end of the beach). There is a lifeguard on duty in such places.

You'll have a ball when visiting this beach if you participate in these entertaining activities. Kitesurfing: Today, have some fun and follow the wind! Kite surfers adore the winds that blow here.


Bodysurfing: When the waves are this good, you can usually see a group of natives bodysurfing on their boogie boards. If you feel up to it, bring a boogie board so you may ride the waves yourself!


Go kayaking: Given its proximity to multiple islands and calm waters, Kailua Beach is a well-liked location for kayaking. Experience the splendour of the Mokulua Islands and the Windward Coastline on a fun guided kayak excursion, novice kayakers! To get to Flat Island or the Mokulua Islands, kayakers can paddle.


Catch the sunrise: The Windward side of this beach is the ideal location to enjoy the morning against a stunning backdrop. Here, sunrises are always beautiful.

One of the most competitive canoe racing clubs in the nation is located in Kailua Bay. Watch them on their craft. Observe them as they compete in boat races.
